Seriously I am losing it lately..I usually go through this now and then but more so now..

Work. It’s a place I have never seem to have much luck with, I underestimate my skills, try to share my ideas (which I can say are usually pretty good and logical) without trying to be a know it all and my ultimate goal is to be better designer with never reaching that opportunity every time.

It seems every design position I’ve been in - I’ve tried to create and design and editors, publishers, sales, even janitors - they all want to do the designing and won’t let me just do that part of my job that really is MY JOB.

So I fight hard, as hard as I can but then in the end just have to let it go because it’s a constant struggle of insanity

Now if I put more effort into fighting for my own company, or going out to get more freelance then maybe I could let go of this other struggle and just fight for myself. and win.

So in the midst of my vent I found this site and I cried and laughed all at once because really - I’ve heard almost every single one of these scenarios in my years of freelancing and I don’t know why I thought for so long that I wasn’t able to put up with a lot, I have, I do and I probably will continue to do so..but helps to know others in my field are going through this

Just stumbled upon this artist Danny Roberts..if I told you why you’d laugh..or won’t

At work we were talking about that new show “V” which actually isn’t a new show - just a new version of a past show and I was saying how Scott Wolf from Party of Five is on the show and then how Scott Wolf is married to a girl who was on Real World New Orleans..the one who was best friends with Danny Roberts, the gay guy who was dating someone from the Army who hadn’t come out..

Then I said Danny Roberts from the Real World looks like Jeff Lewis from The Flipping Out show on Bravo..and how Jeff’s lips are HUGE..and if anything Jeff could have fathered Danny..

So I googled Danny Roberts and stumbled upon this artist - and the images for some reason looked familiar and come to find out he’s illustrated images for Gwen Stefani..

So out of all this I found some art..nice.

I am a fan of cnn.com though some of the headlines I could do without

So they go and change up their look over the weekend and at first I was like ah nice change of pace but now that I’m really checking it out I am starting to find one fault..the type..it’s too damn small people..too small.

Okay done.

God, seriously. This week was rough, had a few meltdowns and didn’t think I would recover..

Ever have that week where you really, really, REALLY feel there is just bad karma surrounding you..that somehow in a past life I must have been a serious bitch to have to deal with this…I know I’m overly sensitive and all that but my meltdowns were warranted..
